Happy Friday Eve! Welcome to another week with the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop Krew. This week the team was given a theme challenge: “Birds”. Now I must admit this one was a hard on for me. In all honesty, I am not much of our feathered friends, however I bucked up and created today’s card with Stampin’ Up Feathered Fun Stamp Set.
This is this weeks challenge:
I started with a panel of Basic White cardstock. I stamped the bird image from Stampin’ Up Feathered Fun Stamp Set with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I colored the image with Stampin’ Blends: Lemon Lime Twist, Poppy Parade, Lemon Lolly, Azure Afternoon and Timid Tiger.
I stamped branches from Feathered Friends using Early Espresso ink on each side of the colored birds. I stamped the sentiment from Stampin’ Up Mixed Label Stamp Set using Azure Afternoon ink on the stamped panel.
I die cut a piece of Azure Afternoon cardstock with Stampin’ Up Textured Notes Dies. I adhered the stamped panel to the die cut.
I adhered a panel of Stampin’ Up Full Of Life DSP to a Granny Apple Green mat before adhering to an Azure Afternoon card base.
I adhered the die cut/stamped panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I finished the front off with a couple of Stampin’ Up Low Profile Sparkle Dots.
The inside is a panel of Basic White cardstock. I stamped the sentiment from Stampin’ Up Mixed Label Stamp Set using Azure Afternoon ink. I adhered the stamped panel to a Granny Apple Green mat prior to adhering to the card base.
