Happy Friday Eve! Welcome to another week of the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. This week, the team was challenged to create a card using a specific color palette. I decided it was the perfect opportunity to create some Valentine’s cards! I used Real Red, Flirty Flamingo, and Bubble Bath, along with the Stampin’ Up! Valentine KissesStamp Set, paired with the Stampin’ Up! Hearts of Love Embossing Folder.

Here is this week’s challenge:

The card front is a panel of Basic White card stock dry embossed with Stampin’ Up Hearts of Love Embossing Folder. I adhered the embossed panel to a Real Red mat. I adhered the layers to a Flirty Flamingo card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I created a frame by die cutting a piece of Flirty Flamingo by layering the second and third largest square dies from Stampin’ Up Stylish Shape Dies. I adhered a Window Sheet to the frame to create the shaker. I created a box on the frame backing using Adhesive Foam Mounting Strips. I filled the shaker with Loose Valentine’s Assortment. I adhered a piece of Stampin’ Up Love Notes DSP to the frame.

I adhered the shaker frame to the card front . I stamped the sentiment from Stampin’ Up Valentine Kisses Stamp Set with Real Red ink on a piece of Basic White. I die cut the sentiment with the second smallest circle die from Stampin’ Up Stylish Shape Dies. I adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The inside is a panel of Basic White. I stamped the sentiment from Stampin’ Up Valentine Kisses Stamp with Real Red Ink. I layered the stamped panel to a Real Red mat prior to adhering to the Flirty Flamingo card base.
