Happy Friday Eve, and welcome to another week of the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! This week’s theme challenge is flowers, and I had so much fun creating a cheerful, bee-inspired card to share with you.

Here is this weeks challenge:

The card base features a Mossy Meadow panel, with a strip of Stampin’ Up! Mixed Up Pattern DSP adhered along the side for a pop of pattern. In the bottom right corner, I stamped the bee trail using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.

For the focal bee, I stamped both the bee and its face on Daffodil Delight cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, then punched them out using the Bee Builder Punch. The wings were stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black on Basic White cardstock and punched out as well. I assembled the bee and popped it up on the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Next, I die cut a piece of Basic White cardstock using the second-largest square from the Stylish Shapes Dies. I stamped the flowers from the Bee My Valentine Stamp Set using Old Olive, Azure Afternoon, and Poppy Parade inks. The sentiment was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.

I adhered the floral die cut to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals, then added the bee for extra dimension and a fun finishing touch.
