Happy Friday Eve! Welcome to another week with the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! This week the team was challenged with a theme challenge: Flowers. I dusted off a stamp set from the Annual Catalog: Stampin’ Up Poised Peony Stamp Set. This card fits perfectly for the CAS Challenge over at The Paper Players Challenge.

Here is this week’s challenge:

Here is The Paper Players Challenge:

I started with a flower from Stampin’ Up Poised Peony Stamp Set with Moody Mauve ink on a piece of Basic Beige Cardstock. I stamped the sentiment with Moody Mauve ink in the corner. I die cut a piece of Cherry Cobbler cardstock with Stampin’ Up Textured Notes Dies. I adhered the stamped panel to the die cut.

I cut a panel of Stampin’ Up Timeless Plaid DSP. I adhered the DSP to a Cherry Cobbler mat. I adhered the layers to a Moody Mauve cardbase with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I adhered the stamp and die cut layers to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Thanks so much for hopping by! Up next is, Terry Lynn.

The single peony makes for a lovely focal point, especially with the multiple levels of layering you’ve used to frame it. Thank you for joining in with our Clean and SImple Challenge at the Paper Players.

A very pretty monochromatic card, Tara! The peony is so classic and beautiful and I like the plaid you used. Thanks for sharing with us at the Paper Players!
