Happy Friday Eve! Welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. This week the team was challenged to create a fun fold card. I used the upcoming bundle, Stampin’ Up Sunrise Sailing Bundle. This will be available May 6th.

Here is this weeks challenge:

The card base is a piece of Misty Moonlight cut at 4 1/4″ x 11″ scored and folded at 5 1/2″. I adhered a Night of Navy mat to the card front. I cut a piece of Misty Moonlight card base to measure 4″ x 9 1/4″. I scored it along the 9 1/4″ side at 2″ and 4″ folding and burnishing in accordion fashion. I adhered the second base to the card front.

I cut a panel of Stampin’ Up Timeless Plaid DSP and adhered to the card front. I cut a piece of Cloud Cover cardstock for the bottom of the easel. I inked up the embossing folder from Stampin’ Up Sunrise Sailing Embossing Folder with Misty Moonlight ink. I dry embossed the piece carefully and adhered to the card front.

I stamped the sailboat with Early Espresso ink on a piece of Thick Basic White cardstock. I stamped the boat’s body with second generation Early Espresso ink. I stamped the sails with Real Red ink. I fussy cut the sailboat with Paper Snips. I adhered the sailboat to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from Stampin’ Up Sunrise Sailings Stamp Set with Misty Moonlight ink on strip of Basic White cardstock. I die cut the sentiment with Stampin’ Up Beautiful Butterflies Dies. I added the sentimetn die cut to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I finished the card front with a couple of Stampin’ Up Opal Rounds.

The inside is a panel of Basic White card stock. I stamped the sentiment and waves from Stampin’ Up Sunrise Sailing Stamp Set using Secret Sea ink. I adhered the panel to a Night of Navy mat prior to adhering to the card base.

Thanks so much for hopping by! Up next is Terry Lynn.
