Happy Friday Eve! Welcome to another week with the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Krew! This week the team was challenged to create a card using a sketch. I decided to use Stampin’ Up Traditional Labels Stamp Set alongside Stampin’ Up Christmas Greenery Dies and paired them with Stampin’ Up Elegant Pine DSP.

Here is this weeks sketch:

I started with a panel of Stampin’ Up Elegant Pine DSP. I adhered a strip of Cherry Cobbler to the DSP panel prior to adhering the layers to a Cherry Cobbler mat to create the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from Stampin’ Up Traditional Labels Stamp Set using Secret Sea ink on a piece of Basic White cardstock. I stamped “Christmas” first so I insured the correct placement of “Merry.” I stamped a pine branch from Stampin’ Up Delicate Pines Stamp Set using Shaded Spruce ink in the corner.

I die cut a piece of Cherry Cobbler with the largest square die from Stampin’ Up Stylish Shape Dies. I adhered the Basic White stamped panel to the Cherry Cobbler die cut.

I die cut Old Olive,Shaded Spruce and Cherry Cobbler with Stampin’ Up Christmas Greenery Dies.

I adhered the stamped layers to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added the greenery die cuts under the die cut using liquid adhesive.

I adhered the card front to an Old Olive card base. I finished the front off with a few gems from Stampin’ Up Cherry Cobbler & Pearl Adhesive-Backed Berries.

The inside is a panel of Basic White cardstock. I stamped the sentiment from Stampin’ Up Words For The Season Stamp Set using Secret Sea ink. I adhered a strip of DSP to the edge before adhering it to a Cherry Cobbler mat. I adhered the Cherry Cobbler to the inside of the Old Olive base.

Thanks so much for hopping by! Up next is Terry Lynn.
