Happy Friday Eve! Welcome to another week with the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! This week we are challenge to create with a color palette. I chose to pair Old Olive, Night of Navy, Cloud Cover, Pecan Pie & Pretty Peacock with Stampin’ Up Cutest Crew Stamp Set.

Here is this week’s challenge:

The card front is a strip of Stampin’ Up Waterside Retreat DSP, an upcoming patterned paper that will be available May 5th to a Cloud Cover panel. I layered the Cloud cover with a Night of Navy mat. I adhered a piece of Stampin’ Up Old Olive Specialty Rickrack Ribbon to the card front.

I die cut a piece of Basic White with Stampin’ Up Nested Essential Dies. I stamped the bird image from Stampin’ Up Cutest Crew Stamp Set on the die cut with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I colored the stamped image with Stampin’ Blends: Cloud Cover, Pecan Pie, Pretty Peacock & Timid Tiger.

I blended a little Old Olive ink to the bottom of the die cut using a Blending Brush.

I adhered the die cut to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a couple of gems from Stampin’ Up Earthy Matte Dots to the card front. I adhered the card front to an Old Olive card base.

I stamped the sentiment from Cutest Crew Stamp Set with Night of Navy ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the bird image in the lower left corner with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I colored the image with the same colors as the front. I adhered the stamped panel to a Night of Navy mat prior to adhering to the card base.
