Today, Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Blog hop is creating cards just for men. I created a Father’s Day card using Stampin’ Up Waterside Retreat Suite. Be sure to hop along for some outstanding inspiration, because let’s face it masculine cards are not easy.

The card front is a panel of Stampin’ Up Waterside Retreat DSP adhered to a Secret Sea mat. I adhered the layers to a Thick Basic White card base.

I die cut a piece of Basic White with Stampin’ Up Everyday Arches Dies. I added Pecan Pie and Balmy Blue ink to the arch with a Blending Brush. I stamped sand on the Pecan Pie area with Pecan Pie ink.

I die cut a piece of Misty Moonlight cardstock with Stampin’ Up Relaxing Waterside Dies. I pieced the Adirondack chair together and adhered to the arch die cut. I wrapped a piece of Linen Thread around the die base and tied a bow.

I fussy cut a life jacket and oars from a piece of Stampin’ Up Waterside Retreat DSP. I adhered them to the arch die cut. I adhered the arch die cut to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from Relaxing Waterside Stamp Set with Misty Moonlight ink on a strip of Basic White. I punched the sentiment out using Stampin’ Up Three Banner Punch. I adhered the strip to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
