Stampin’ Up Frosted Pinecone Christmas Wishes Card for Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Happy Friday Eve! Welcome to another week with the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop Krew. This week, the team was provided a sketch to work with and I used Stampin’ Up Frosted Pinecone Bundle. This set has matching dies as well as masks to give the pinecone so much texture and dimension.

Here is this week’s sketch:

The card front is a panel of Pecan Pie card stock that I dry embossed with Stampin’ Up Softly Woven Embossing Folder. I adhered a strip of Stampin’ Up Neutral Noel DSP to the embossed panel. I adhered the embossed panel to an Early Espresso card base.

I stamped the large pinecone image from Stampin’ Up Frosted Pinecone using Early Espresso Ink on a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock.

I lined the first mask up with the stamped image. Using a Blending Brush, I added Crumb Cake ink to the stamped image. Next, I added Pecan Pie, Early Espresso & Shaded Spruce ink using the masks.

I die cut the large pinecone image out with the coordinating dies. I die cut the small pinecone from Crumb Cake & Early Espresso card stock. I die cut pine leaves from Shaded Spruce. I adhered the die cuts to the card front with liquid adhesive & Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The sentiment is Gold Foil heat foiled from Stampin’ Up Christmas Wishes Hot Foil Die on a piece Early Espresso card stock. I die cut the sentiment with the coordinating dies. I adhered the sentiment to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I finished the front off with a few gems from Stampin’ Up Golden Adhesive-Backed Dots.

The inside is a panel of Very Vanilla with the sentiment from Stampin’ Up Christmas Mice Stamp Set using Pecan Pie ink. I stamped a small pinecone from Stampin’ Up Noel Tidings Stamp Set. I layered the stamped panel to a Pecan Pie mat prior to adhering to an Early Espresso card base.
