All this week, I’ll be sharing projects created with the Fragrant Layers Bundle from Stampin’ Up!. Today’s project is a beautiful Joy Fold card I’m featuring in this month’s SU Demo Fun Fold Blog Hop. I love how this fold adds extra interest while still fitting in a standard envelope!

The card base was created with Cloud Cover cardstock cut to 4-1/4″ x 6-1/2″ and scored at 5-1/2″. I layered Florals in Bloom Designer Series Paper onto Secret Sea cardstock mats and adhered them to the base.

The folding mechanism was made with a panel of Cloud Cover cardstock cut to 3″ x 8″ and scored at 4″. I dry embossed a panel of Secret Sea cardstock using the Beautiful Pattern Embossing Folder and adhered it to the front of the flap.

The flowers were die cut using the Fragrant Layers Dies from Strawberry Slush, Darling Duckling, and Basic White cardstock. I added soft color to the white flowers using Strawberry Slush Ink and a Blending Brush. The flowers were adhered to the flap with a combination of liquid glue and Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The leaves were die cut from Soft Sea Foam cardstock using the Fragrant Layers Dies and adhered with liquid adhesive.

The sentiment was stamped from the Banner Sayings Stamp Set onto Basic White cardstock using Secret Sea ink and die cut with the stitched banner die from the Fragrant Layers Dies.

To finish the front of the card, I added a few gems from the Antique Pearls embellishments, coloring one of them with a Secret Sea Stampin’ Blend.

The inside panel is Basic White cardstock. I stamped a sentiment from the Fragrant Layers Stamp Set using Secret Sea ink. Before adhering it to the card base, I stamped the flower cluster from the same set in Strawberry Slush ink in the corner.
