Today’s card features a super cute new set that will be available May 6th, Stampin’ Up Poppin By. I used the sketch from TGIF most current challenge for inspiration.

Here is the sketch:

The card front is a panel of Stampin’ Up Botanical Texture DSP adhered to a Real Red mat. I stamped popcorn from Stampin’ Up Poppin’ By Stamp Set with Versamark on a piece of Daffodil Delight cardstock. I heat embossed white from Stampin’ Up Basic Embossing Powder. I adhered the embossed panel to a Real Red mat prior to adhering to the card front.

I stamped the popcorn bucket with Real Red and Daffodil Delight ink on a piece of Basic White. I die cut each image with the coordinating die set, Stampin’ Up Poppin’ By Dies. I cut the popcorn off the Real Red stamped image and adhered the die cuts together. I adhered the popcorn bucket to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I die cut a piece of Basic Black card stock with the die set. I adhered the shoes and glasses to the popcorn bucket with liquid adhesive.

I stamped the senitment from Stampin’ Up Poppin’ By Stamp Set with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink on a strip of Basic White cardstock. I adhered the strip to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I adhered the card front to a Basic Black cardbase. I finished the card front off with a few gems from Stampin’ Up Opal Rounds.

The inside is a panel of Basic White cardstock. I stamped the popcorn image from Stampin’ Up Poppin’ By Stamp Set with Daffodil Delight ink along the edge. I stamped the sentiment with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I layered the Basic White panel with a Real Red mat prior to adhering to the card base.
